YOUR PRIVACY:

All information we collect is primarily in the interest of accurate order processing. When you sign up on our online store as a new customer you will be asked to provide some personal information such as first and last name, billing and shipping address, and a contact e-mail address and telephone number. This information is used only for the purposes of processing and shipping your order and will never be disclosed to any party outside of these necessary channels.

SECURITY:

Look for the https://butterflyandco in the address bar of your browser when you checkout; the ‘s’ stands for ‘secure’. Our secured socket layer (ssl) uses the latest, industry-standard 128-bit encryption technology to ensure that your personal information, especially your name, address, and credit card number, stay out of the wrong hands and cannot be read or intercepted as it travels to our payment processing system. Our security certificate can be viewed by double clicking the little padlock icon at the bottom of your browser window.

CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED:

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Your card is not charged until the day the item is to be shipped.

SHIPPING:

Many of the items that we offer are made to order. Orders are shipped within 5 business days from the date of the order. If an item is out of stock we will notify you right away by email.

Butterfly & Company uses the United States Postal Service and ships via Priority Mail. For most domestic orders shipping is approximately  $7 to $9. We ship Monday through Friday; please do not include Saturday, Sunday or national holidays when calculating shipping days.

We use priority mail with delivery confirmation. Priority mail arrives about 2-3 days after it leaves our hands, however, transit time is provided by the carrier and may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak periods.

DUTIES/TAXES/CUSTOM CHARGES:

It is the recipients responsibility to pay all duty taxes, duty fees, and custom charges. Please note that in some countries these charges can be anywhere between 10-50% of the price of the goods that you’ve purchased. If you refuse the package because of these fees you will still be obligated to pay our shipping charges, the return shipping charges, and the custom charges.

RETURNS:

Returns must be made within 21 days from the date the item was shipped from Durham, North Carolina. You are responsible for return shipping fees unless product is damaged.

Please inspect and try on your items when you receive them. If your product arrives damaged, please keep all original packaging and contact us immediately. We will pay for return shipping and refund your card once the item has been received back in Durham. It must be unused, unworn, with tags still attached.

If you would like to return an item for any reason please mail it back in unworn and unused condition with tags still attached. We reserve the right to refuse a return when it does not meet these criteria or to charge a restocking fee. We do not accept returns after the 21-day window.

EXCHANGES:

Butterfly & Company is not responsible for damages that occur during care of the item such as washing or dry cleaning or for the fit of the item beyond the 21 day return policy.

Please follow the wash and care instructions and your linens and tees should stay in good shape.

Exchanges are treated as returns. To exchange your item for a different size or color please call 919-381-6211 or email us at info@butterflyinc.com with your request. You will be charged for the new item when it ships out and you will receive a refund for the item you send back once we receive it.

ONE OF A KIND:

Due to the handmade nature of many of our items there will be slight variations, which are not considered flaws. We inspect our products carefully before shipping but if you feel the products appear damaged please notify us immediately and we will pay for a return.

WHOLESALE ORDERS:

To set up an account we need your company name and a copy of your resale license. Minimum orders are one dozen pieces per category (e.g. 12 maternity tees, 12 sets of linen coasters, etc.)

GIFT WRAP:

At this time we do not offer gift wrapping.

GREEN:

Maternity tees are printed using waterbased inks. When possible we recycle bookstore boxes in very good condition. Kids tees and onesies are also available in 100% Organic cotton in sizes 6-12 and 12-18
